John’s Lesson

So let’s get started. Make yourself comfortable, close your eyes, take a few slow, deep breaths and relax.

Bring your awareness to the bottom of your feet. Let your breath assist you in transferring the relaxing energy up through the bottom of your feet. Slowly, work your way up your calves, your thighs, your abdomen, chest, your fingers, hands, arms, shoulders, neck, face, right to the top of your head. Now at the top of your head, I want you to imagine there is one big funnel starting to form, which reaches out into the universe. Think of it as a vortex of energy reaching upward.

Let your awareness constantly flow up and out of your head and into this funnel that’s opening up above you. All the information you want can now be accessed and brought to you. You may want to imagine a shimmering ball or cloud of white light above this funnel. Now reach up with your mind, as if you are floating and blending with this brilliant white light. Slowly merge yourself into this space, as you continue to reach up and out of your body with your mind.

Take a few moments with this energy, and feel what it’s like to be calm and centered, and to be one with your higher mind.

Now it’s time to ask your higher mind a question. For example:

* Is there someone you would like to get along with but you’re not sure how to go about it?
* Is there a question about your job that you need guidance on?
* Are you wondering what is stopping you from reaching your goals?

You can even ask if there’s something that your intuition has been trying to tell you. Ask your higher mind how you can be more receptive when it’s trying to communicate with you. You may want to ask, “What steps can I take to improve my life and spiritual development?” Ask one question at a time, and wait for a response. Take whatever answers come to you. You may receive a symbol, words or even a feeling.

Don’t be surprised if your higher mind also chooses to make known a certain area of your life that you’re neglecting. Sometimes you don’t always get what you asked for – but what you need. Remember what you have received, so that you can bring the information and answers back into your conscious mind.

It’s now time to bring your awareness back into your body. Don’t worry, as you’ll be able to go back to this special place anytime you wish. Slowly take a breath and let it assist you in coming back to the present. Feel yourself shifting down into your body, entering through the open funnel. Move your fingers and toes, and slowly open your eyes to become fully aware of your body and the room around you.

Don’t worry if you feel as though you did not get an answer immediately. You may get the answer another way or even a day or two later, or maybe even from someone else unexpectedly. Be open and let your higher mind speak to you in all its various ways. As always, keep your journal handy for when you come out of the meditation, so you can take the time to interpret what the words, feelings, and symbols mean specifically to you.

I often teach this technique in my psychic development workshops, but in the early stages of development, I encourage my students to start off by asking small questions at first, so they can familiarize themselves with the meditation, and learn to differentiate their conscious thinking from their higher minds.

You’ll know when your higher mind is speaking and answering your questions, because you’ll feel a sense of smoothness to what you’re receiving. The answers will not sound like your regular mind chatter. I want to stress again here, that any information you may receive from your higher mind should always be of a positive nature. Ask yourself the same question once again, “Is this coming to me or from me?”

This meditation can be used as a mini-meditation anytime you need it – especially during stressful times in your life, when you may need an intuitive solution. Try to get into the habit of shifting up and accessing your higher mind at least once a day. With practice, you’ll be able to seek insightful guidance anytime you wish. By using this lesson, it will give you a sense of transformation and inner wisdom that can reach into every aspect of life, and could possibly be the key to open the door to an old friend – your soul.

Uriel’s Message — Love Generously by Jennifer Hoffman

Just as your forgiveness should be unconditional, given generously to all without judgment and flowing from you to others in an effortless stream, so should you love others with the unconditional love that resides within you. You often share this love in controlled, measured ways, giving to those who have proven they deserve it or whose love you are grateful for but it should be shared fully, generously and without limitation, to everyone. Do not judge who you should love, be willing to love everyone so that love can be returned to you.

Unconditional love is more than what you know of romance, it encompasses acceptance, gratitude, divinity, connection and truth. It is mindful of the place of each person in the family of humanity, of the shared experience of suffering and potential for ascension. Love given generously is always returned to you multiplied, but not always from the person to whom it is given. When you judge others’ capacity for love and use that to limit how you love them, you also limit the love you can receive in your own life from all sources.

How can you love those who hurt you? By remembering that they are part of your path because you chose them. Can you love your enemies? Who is your enemy, the one who hurts you? These are often your greatest teachers. Those who remind you of your lessons in power are those who are your most loving teachers, this is how you see them in spirit and this is why you should be generous with your love to everyone.

Unconditional love is a gift of spirit, not to be confused with the love the ego recognizes as being deserved or owing. When you love generously you are allowing your divinity to shine brightly in your life and allow that light to become a beacon that attracts the love you seek. It will come to you for as you release judgments about love, you remove the blocks to love. Make love your practice with each person, so you give love generously in the spirit of acceptance of who they are, gratitude for their role in your life and you in theirs, see their divinity, remember you are all connected and the only truth that exists is that you are all of spirit.

Uriel’s Message — Why You Cannot Help Othersby Jennifer Hoffman

Jennifer’s note: I asked for this channel today because several of my friends are facing very sad life issues. I cannot do anything for them, other than to send them prayers, love and light. I feel helpless and sad, even though I know that all is in divine order. My question to Uriel was why did this happen and why do I feel so helpless. This is his reply.

Your desire to help others is part of your commitment to be of service to all of humanity at this time. Do not confuse helping humanity with alleviating its suffering. You can reveal alternatives that will present new potentials for understanding and action but even with the vibrational shifts, new energies, ascension and transformation, karma is still at work and soul contracts are being fulfilled. See beyond emotional consequences to the spiritual fulfillment that is being created . Many contracts involve separation, final resolution and choices that are made without consideration of others’ pain or reactions.

You are only seeing the pain and sadness of others, not the full scope of their experience. This is a lifetime experience that represents the completion of energies gathered over many lifetimes within a soul group. Each one chooses the most powerful path they can connect with and although their choices may seem weak and powerless to you, in reality they represent their decision to release energies in ways that make them feel powerful.

Every journey has a happy ending, although how that transpires is not always a joyful occasion for all involved. Many souls are now able to choose outcomes they have never been able to manifest before, and that includes how and when they will end their human cycle. For some this will be to work from the spiritual realms, rather than continuing their path in a human form. For others this will be to experience humanity without spiritual partnership. All of these choices represent a chosen path of experience in this lifetime.

Your help cannot be in the form of altering someone’s path, releasing them from the results of their choices, or removing pain from their lives. You can send love and light, see everyone in their most powerful aspects and know that all are choosing from their believed point of power. Allow everyone to fulfill their chosen destiny and release their karma. Remember that all is in divine order and stay connected with spirit, for this is where you will find the peace and understanding you need in these times.

Uriel’s Message — Compassion and Pity, by Jennifer Hoffman

There are two types of empathic responses that you use when you connect to others, compassion or pity. One is empowering, the other is disempowering. One focuses on limitation, the other holds the energy of expansion. One is helpful and the other is not. With one you disempower both yourself and the other person and in so doing risk re-opening karmic cycles with them that you may have already closed.

You make the choice to connect with compassion or pity in a single instant and then you either become part of others’ drama or step aside and allow them to light their candle from the light you extend to them.

The less helpful of these two responses is pity because through it you agree with someone’s helplessness, lack of power, confusion, doubt and lack of faith. You connect to them from your own woundedness and are reminded of your pain. With pity you are in agreement with their pain and feel the best solution is to offer your wound to show them they are not alone in their suffering. Sometimes others want to be rescued when they are in a powerless place. Are you willing to play the role of their rescuer?

Compassion requires more effort because with it you release the need to be ‘doing’ something for others. Compassion does not ask you to do anything, other than to see others in their best light, highest vibration and full potential. Even though their wounds remind you of your own, you can respond from your healed center instead of remembering your own pain. You can be a powerful example for others but you cannot be powerful for them.

Those who ask for pity are seeking validation for their suffering. They may respond to your offer of compassion with anger because you are reminding them that suffering is a choice, just as being powerful is a choice. Do you need to be reminded that you once suffered like them or are you grateful to have found your strength and can show others that they can find theirs too? In times of transformation use compassion to remind others of their ability to heal any wound, that they can find their shining light within and do not need pity. They will find the way to end their suffering when they remember who they are and are able to rescue themselves through their powerful inner light within.

Uriel’s Message — Forgive First, Speak Second – by Jennifer Hoffman

There are countless levels of energy in the third dimension, each of them has a purpose and a place in the grand plan of ascension. Even though you have chosen the level at which you will function, there are many levels that will wish to interact with you. Some of them will be challenging and will bring forth anger and hurt. Others will be supportive and will confirm your growth and healing. When you choose to walk the path of ascension you stand in unconditional love that allows you to respond to every energy with forgiveness, before you speak.

By extending forgiveness to each person and situation, you are accepting everything in its state of divinity and acknowledging your role as creator of your reality. Nothing ‘happens’ to you and there are no accidents or challenges you face which you did not create for your learning and healing. Yet you are tempted to attack those who challenge you, believing that it is their responsibility to treat you with kindness and respect. But each person connects with you at the energy level they are comfortable with, not the one you desire.

Those who are in fear wish to maintain their fear level and bring you to that level. When you extend forgiveness you respond to their fear with love and allow them to know that energy. This allows them to choose it for themselves because you have awakened them to the possibility of ascension through your forgiveness. In this way you control the energies you allow in your reality. After you extend forgiveness, you can speak or interact from your most powerful self and deflect any lower level energies that have been directed to you. Without forgiveness, you can feel hurt and angry. With forgiveness, you extend compassion and stay in your own power.

There are times when you will be tested by those who wish to experience your light but who can only do so at their level. The person who attacks you is acting from their level of anger and frustration and reflecting their level of self love. You can respond to them through their anger or from your position of power. By extending forgiveness you remove the cords to every connection you have at the level of fear and maintain control over the ego’s desire for validation. Before you speak, forgive those who hurt or challenge you, any situation of lack or fear and every experience of pain. Then you can allow your words to come from the place of light where love exists and stay in your power.

The Energies of May by Jennifer Hoffman

Well, another month has gone by in a year that seems to be going by so quickly that it’s hard to keep up. Linear time is collapsing into universal time where all things happen simultaneously and we are integrating other aspects of ourselves into this reality. Where are we grounded and functioning? It’s hard to say because what our current reality looks like is based on our thoughts in this moment. If we want to change it, all we have to do is change our thoughts and set an intention for being somewhere else. Get ready for this phase of our ascension because it’s happening now. May is going to be a fantastic month with lots of movement, guidance and action.

April was a frustrating month because during the entire month we were challenged to be clear about what we wanted. And if we did not know what that was, everything that was not in alignment with our intention simply did not work. Rather than being frustrated, quitting and getting depressed or angry, we needed to reflect on what was happening and to change our direction. In many ways April felt like the irresistible force meeting the immovable object. In May the objects begin to move and we will learn about moving energy, alignment and being the force in our lives.

May opens with Mercury retrograde until May 11, so things may move a little slowly during the first half of the month. This Mercury retrograde is in Taurus and is about value-what do we value, what is valuable to us and where we value ourselves. When we put ourselves first and hold on to the thought that we are valuable and worthy, we create what we want in our lives. When we are willing to settle, to put others’ needs and desires before ours, we sell ourselves short and block our growth. Are we willing to be selfish? That is going to be May’s challenge.

If we are able to stand firm in our dreams, May will be a fantastic month. Lots of movement and things finally getting unstuck. Five of my family members are moving this month, an indication of how much energy is waiting to be moved. And that is exactly how we have to see it. The energy is waiting to be moved, we have to be the ‘movers.’ Where do you want the energy to move in your life and what are you willing to release, accept, transform and acknowledge to make it happen? It’s all about us this month, whatever we want is what is available to us. All we have to do is claim it, own it and receive. Let this be your best month this year by standing in your power and acknowledging that you are worthy of the best that the Universe can give you. Have a wonderful month.

Uriel’s Message — Which Paradigm Do You Choose? By Jennifer Hoffman

Ascension is the spiraling journey from separation to wholeness, from fear to love and from polarity to connection. It is the path the earth has taken since its birth, separating from Source so it could eventually rejoin itself. The purpose of ascension extends beyond humanity’s role, it is astral, energetic and vibrational. Within it are multiple paradigms that all lead to ascension and all share a common purpose, the healing of separation and the rejoining of the separate to the whole.

With separation the earth chose the paradigm of polarity, following the plan that was created as the earth’s soul contract with Source. Within this contract are many paradigms for ascension, each one an experience of the journey to wholeness through different energetic vibrations. Beyond the reality of the earth that you can see with your eyes, which is allowed through the filter of the earth’s density, are the limitless paradigms through which you experience your many lifetimes.

You choose paradigms according to your healing, the fear you must transmute into love, the pain that can become joy and the doubt that becomes faith and trust. Each paradigm has an energetic vibration that matches your soul’s desire for wholeness. A new paradigm is one thought away. You can move between paradigms with each choice you make. Those you choose fulfill lessons and once they are completed, you can choose any other paradigm that corresponds to the level of vibration you want to experience. Your choice of paradigm takes you into other dimensions and timelines. There is no reality beyond that which corresponds to your current paradigm.

Your intention activates a paradigm, which connects you to the energetic vibrations that become your individual and collective reality. Each thought creates its own paradigm which expands or contracts your reality, according to your beliefs. Allow yourselves to move freely through paradigms, setting your intention for the energies you choose as your reality. As you select those that resonate with the energetic vibrations of love, peace, joy, the people and situations are called into being that will create these experiences. Heaven on earth is the final outcome of all paradigms, and that journey is short or long, depending on your intention and the energies you choose to experience. All is choice and you are the chooser.

Midway Between Panic and Joy by Jennifer Hoffman

This is how I’ve been feeling recently… Jennifer, you nail it on the head

I was talking to a friend about the energies this past week, because they were so unsettled and so much seemed to be on the verge of happening but not quite ready to appear. I described myself as being halfway between joy and panic, straddling the middle line between knowing that everything was going to be OK and yet not sure whether a full blown panic attack was going to be part of the next step.She agreed that this was what she was feeling, knowing that something was getting ready to happen and the waiting was frustrating her as well.

We’re in the ‘hurry up and wait’ part of ascension, where we have cleared out so much yet are still working through the remnants of the last of the energies. We are feeling the urgency of our task so we want to hurry up, thinking that this will create the opening that will begin the inflow of changes we know are coming. And then the ‘wait’ part hits us because we are learning about patience, divine timing, shifting our concept of when and how things happen and remembering that as co-creators, we are partners and the Universe isn’t always following behind us, instantly responding when we want it to.

This is our charge to lead and we really are making so much progress but as we step into multi-dimensional living and multi-linear time, our lives are taking on many more facets than we are accustomed to considering. Where before we could see past, present and future, now we can are aware of all points in between and more. Everything is a possibility at this level and we need to develop laser sharp focus and get specific about what we want to create.

The Universe is urging us to be willing to release, clear, heal in preparation for what is coming next. Not because it is going to happen in the next five minutes, but because each level of energy we clear brings so much more into our field of potential. What do we do? We do the clearing work and we wait for the signs that will show us the next steps on our journey. And while we are waiting we stay focused on what we want to create, refine our vision for our reality until it becomes so tangible and clear than when it does arrive, we will realize that we have already been in it.

Uriel’s Message — The Collapse of the Third Dimension, by Jennifer Hoffman

The healing and release work you do for yourself extends to all of humanity and releases the fear polarity that is the dominant aspect of the third dimensional path. As the earth moves through ascension, as it is doing now, the third dimension is collapsing and its energy is being replaced by higher vibrations that do not contain the energetic connections to fear and chaos. While this is happening on the earth level, it is also happening in each of you and as you release your own connections to fear and chaos, you are collapsing your third dimensional reality.

Each dimensional shift replaces the previous one that held the prevailing energy. For the third, the prevailing energy is fear and ascension replaces that with unconditional love. As the dimension collapses the individual results will be seen in the flow of energy in each reality. Any fear-based manifestation will begin to collapse as the connections to it are removed. Every thought or belief that is released or healed removes a connection and collapses its third dimensional aspect, replacing it with a higher vibration.

This collapse can appear to be fearful or it can be a joyful experience, depending on your willingness to embrace this powerful transformation. Humanity has little experience of dimensions beyond the third, except for some memory of Home, and they are not able to see as an opportunity to step into their own mastery and divinity. As the third dimension collapses it also release anything that is based in this energy, which includes all structures on the emotional, physical and intellectual planes that are connected to it. This can feel like the ‘end of the world’ but it is simply the result of the replacement of one dimensional level with another.

Humanity agreed that this would be their ascension path and it is being accomplished according to the divine plan. The end of the third dimension is the end of fear, the release of the veil that separates humanity from higher planes of being and allows the creation of the spiritual human. This is a time to celebrate, to remember the promise of the ascension path and the release of the limitations that you have accepted as part of life but which are contrary to your truth. Celebrate this as confirmation of your progress and be willing to receive the blessings of the new world paradigm that has been prepared for you and awaits your presence.
